Comments: Great site found it quite by chance tonight. I am a spiritualist and have been told several times my main guide (or guardian angel) is a sioux indian. The words oglala and lakota heve been mentioned several times during sittings.He is very young and very tall and I was told once he had a scar on his left cheek,and he has been looking after me since I was born. Naturally being a woman and inquisitive I am trying to find out as much as I can about the Lakota/Oglala indians with the hope that one day I will find out who he is. I have had a passionate love for horses since I could talk and now think that is where the influence has come from as my family have no horse connections. It makes sense that such spiritual people would wish to look after us when they have departed to the great spirit. Thank you for taking the time to create such a wonderful informative web site.

I started my interest in the American Indian when I was a Boy Scout in York, Pennsylvania. Belonged to various Indian Scout groups and the Order of the Arrow. Moved to Montana in 1967 to teach school on the Rocky Boy Reservation. For the past 38 years I have built and operated Four Winds Indian Trading Post on the Flathead Reservation. My friends and I spent our youth exploring the mountains, lakes and streams in this area.
